Join us in celebrating the Winter Solstice!
Only a couple more weeks, and the days start to grow longer again! It’s time to celebrate the Winter Solstice and all the joys of this season. Please join us on Monday, December 20, from 3 pm to 5 pm. We’ll have warm fires, hot beverages and baked goods, and even live music! Heartstrings (an all-woman ukulele group) will play holiday songs for our enjoyment beginning at 4:15pm. Come by our backyard space at 420 Mill St., and join us for a celebration of fire and light, and our connection to the natural world, as we begin a new tradition of outdoor festivities and ceremony at the Women’s Centre. This event is open to everyone.
