This Saturday Rachel Mackenzie  & Nichola Cornell will be hosting a sewing machine repair and maintenance workshop at the Nelson & District Womens Centre.

This is for you if you’ve always been curious about the inner workings of a sewing machine, struggled with getting the tension to work just right, or had other questions about the mysteries of the sewing machine.

One Stitch at a time – mysteries of the sewing machine revealed

Saturday Nov. 25 – 1-3 pm An opportunity to gather and talk basic sewing machine maintenance and repair. Bring your own machine or help us with trouble shooting some of the sewing machines on hand.

We will discuss and examine things like: thread tension, basic maintenance, oiling, and repairs.
