We are pleased to host Counseling and Social Work Practicums at the Women’s Centre. If you are interested completing your practicum with us, please reach out to our Programs Manager Anna by emailing anna@nelsonwomenscentre.com.
Please note: Students must be able to provide proof of registration to a post secondary institution, a clear Police Information Check, an external practicum supervisor, and your own insurance to provide counseling at the Women’s Centre. Students are responsible to pay for their supervision costs. If grant funding is available to assist with practicum expenses, we will consider applying to support qualified candidates when resources allow. Students are required to present eligible grants to be considered for this option.
